Black Bottle is a contemporary and casual tavern housed in a century-old building and sporting an exposed brick wall and a good-sized dimly (and candle-) lit space. There is a full bar, wine, beer and an interesting selection of cuisines spanning a number of geographies. Prices are modest. Every dish is made fresh-to-order in sharable portions. Groups small and large are welcome. Black Bottle is in the Belltown location previously occupied by Two Dagos from Texas and is owned by Judy Boardman (also the designer) and by Chris Linker, who previously owned Carmine's on Penn in Denver, a popular Italian restaurant.
