Of course no photos of the actual treatment experiences. We had a massage & a cocoa bean scrub. It was lovely to be so pampered.
It was very lovely and serene in the Silent Room. I can see the appeal, even if I didn't take advantage of it myself.
Shhh. . . . Anyone who knows me knows this wasn't a room I was going to hang out in for very long. Silent? Me?
This sign let us know that the "plastic" cups we were using were actually made of a corn based product and were 100% compostable. They are trying to be a "greener, more sustainable spa".
It's a lousy picture, but here are the urns of "spa" water with citrus floating in them-lime or lemon.
The quiet room was my favorite place to relax. You were encouraged to be quiet, but speaking in a whisper was allowed. There was a buffet set up with coffee, tea, hot chocolate and muffins, and another table with water.
From the window at the top of the stairs you can see that it is a gray, dreary, rainy day outside. Perfect weather to be relaxing inside.
That big urn is actually a fountain, water pours out over the rim and down on to the base.
Once you are changed you can "chill" and wait in any of the 3 relaxation rooms until your technician is ready.
The sinks area is beautiful as well. (yes that's me in the mirror, wearing my Spa Robe, taking a picture with my iPhone)
In the alcove is a table with basic amenities one might want. Cotton balls, tissues, q-tips etc.

Can you see how beautiful, serene and restful this all is? I could have stayed their all day, and some folks do! You can arrive as early as you like before your appointment and stay as long afterwards!
