Superdumb Supervillain, contemplating going to BlogHer in lieu of ordinary daily life

Roo wants mommy to get off her back and go to BlogHer, already. She knows who the *real* superstar of Superdumb Supervillain is, and it ain't mommy: on her first day of preschool, one of the other moms gasped because she recognized Roo from the blog. Stardom, dude. In Wichita, Kansas.
Roo informs me that she will be playing guitar and her brother can be the drummer. Her songs tend to revolve around sparkles, flowers and hearts. Catchy.
I love them, even though they've given me permanent puffy dark circles and burgeoning wrinkles. (It's all blog fodder, I tell you!)
These two are the only rock stars I hang out with these days, and that's cool with me, for the most part.
Pre-kids, there was no tennis or country club. No way! I worked in record stores and radio stations and saw all the coolest bands… I used to attend all the big music conferences. This was CMJ, I think, around my 21st birthday. I was a panelist at SXSW when it was still a hometown thing. Mingling with rock stars was commonplace.
I had no idea tennis could be so… pink. Still, it doesn't make up for the Country Club thing. (We're not members, Roo's grandma is.) I like giving her fun activities to do but it's so not my scene.
Waiting for Roo's tennis camp to start. I hate country clubs.

SO this is what it's come to hnh? Sounds to me as though that's a blogger that does indeed belong at BlogHer. She so deserves the spotlight!
She definitely deserves to be the rock star finally, rather than the groupie!

I like it!
